The Young Princess Kills Everyone: Re
“Aaah, it’s all broken. What a waste. I was supposed to destroy the world. This pointless world was supposed to vanish.”
Yueri glared at Calaria with hostility in her eyes.
“Don’t make me laugh, you sister-killing wretch. You destroyed yourself and dragged others into it in your despair.”
“You’re the one who stole my sister from me.”
“No, she ‘ran away’. Justia was disgusted too.”
“Then my sister betrayed me too.”
“That line of thinking is precisely why you were abandoned.”
“Then my sister deserved to be killed too. Because she blamed me for everything she did. She took a kid and ran away, pretending to be a hero, and didn’t care about how much I suffered.”
Yueri started shouting as Calaria quietly shot at her.
Half of her head got shot off.
Her brain got exposed, and she started regenerating from her wound like Mary, then glared at Calaria.
“Aaah…… that hurt. But, is this pain love? Tell me Calaria, we only spent a short while together, but love is-”
“Die.”
Calaria shot a barrage of bullets without any arguments.
Yueri’s body shook and trembled as it became full of holes.
“Mean, mean. Calari…… a……”
Yueri’s body melted down.
Calaria briefly sighed and sharpened her senses.
What happened earlier was just the opening act.
She knew that this was where the real fight began.
“Save me, Calaria.”
A herd of Justias gushed out from the ground.
They asked for help in sorrowful voices before getting scattered away.
“Trifling.”
Calaria spun while shooting her handguns.
The herd of Justias were mercilessly shot down.
Then, Justia emerged in the corner of the room.
“Mean, so mean. To kill your real mother like this-”
“I saw enough while fighting Tower. But I’m a bit disappointed to see nothing but cheap tricks here.”
“You grew up to be pretty impudent.”
Yueri held her hand aloft and even a bigger herd than before emerged.
The group assaulted Calaria.
She turned her Machinaneus into a gauntlet, and crushed the Justias into pieces.
The corpses immediately vanished and new Justias emerged one after the other.
Each time, Yueri said:
“Mean, mean, mean-”
With tears in her eyes.
“So mean, Calaria. Why are you doing this to your sister?”
“You’re the one making me do it!”
Calaria dodged the attacks and found a chance to shoot Yueri.
Yueri’s head got blown off.
Yueri, with nothing but her mouth remaining, continued to cry.
“So cruel. It’s not like, it’s not like, I wanted to do this either!”
She seemed clearly shaken up as she screamed and the Justias all suddenly stopped moving.
Then, their bodies began to melt and decay.
“Ugh…… What is this?”
Perhaps Yueri’s emotional instability was affecting her powers.
Even if she knew they were fake, watching so many copies of Justia rotting away like this was simply a grotesque sight.
And the body of Yueri herself also started to decay.
“No. No. No no no noo, I wanna be with my sister! Sister, sisteeeer, don’t leave meeee!”
Then, Calaria felt an itch in her arm and lightly scratched it.
The flesh on her fingertips stuck to her skin.
There was no pain.
It was strange.
She checked her wound, and Calaria noticed that her body was decomposing as well.
She quickly took her sword out, and:
“OVERDRIVE, READY.”
“Oooooh!”
She mowed down the herd of Justias surrounding her.
Then, to take as much distance from Yueri as possible, she took up position in a corner of the room.
The decaying of her body stopped and she felt the delayed pain in her arm.
“Uugh…… I knew she wasn’t an ordinary human. Yueri is an arcana user…… but what’s with this power? Does it make everything around her decay? Then why didn’t she use it from the start!?”
There were a lot of questions.
In the meanwhile, Calaria shot Yueri with her rifle to test something.
However, Yueri caused even mana to decay, and the bullet never reached her.
(Then Digi can’t hurt her either. Well, there’s no guarantee that she didn’t run away anyway.)
Digi was vigilantly waiting for an opportunity for a surprise attack, like before – Calaria felt silly for having this thought.
She was relying on the culprit who tried to kill her, and who killed Justia, while trying to kill her own mother and the other enemy of Justia.
Nothing made sense any more.
And even if Calaria killed Yueri, she would die in the gap between delight and sorrow.
The revenge tragedy Calaria desired was not here.
(I don’t care if this isn’t real revenge. Right now, I…… I’m fighting to make Mary’s world just a little better.)
The only reason Calaria could keep maintaining her fighting spirit in this chaotic world was Mary’s presence.
Their relationship had begun with a fight to the death, but now, she considered it a ‘meeting of destiny’.
While Calaria briefly basked in her memories, the hue of Yueri’s emotions changed again.
“……Why? Why do I have to apologize? It’s not my fault. It’s my sister’s fault…… uuugh, no. She seduced my sister. Calaria seduced my sister with her youthful body and took her away. Vile bitch! Aah, yes, sister. I’m sorry, I was mistaken!”
The rotten Justias reverse-regenerated into human shapes and stood up.
They then surrounded Yueri and caressed her body while whispering sweet words to her.
“It’s okay Yueri, none of this is your fault.”
“Yeah, sister. Yeah, you’re right.”
“Let’s love each other.”
“I love you.”
“You’re more important than anyone.”
“Hehehe…… This is what sisters should be like!”
“Are you trying to be the most disgusting person in the world?”
“Shut up, homewrecker. You don’t even know why I used my powers to revive my sister.”
“And I don’t want to.”
“You would if you really were her family! It’s for group sex! It’s to feel good!”
“Ugh…… Please just die already.”
Calaria could not hide her anger.
She mercilessly shot Yueri in the head with her rifle, and shot the lower half of her body off before she regenerated.
Yueri’s flesh vanished without a trace left behind, but the supply of Justias did not stop.
“They can’t stop me!”
In the end, they were just lumps of meat that looked like Justia.
They were fragile barriers that could easily be cut through with a sword.
In the meanwhile, however, Yueri’s body regenerated again.
“Aaaaagh!”
The herd of Justias were mowed down and vanished.
(She doesn’t die even if she completely vanishes. This means her real body is somewhere else.)
Calaria guessed as much.
However, in that case, it was dubious whether she was caught in the explosion or not.
(Did she avoid the explosion because she didn’t put her real body there from the start? Or did she know that I set up a bomb? In that case-)
Their exchange here was completely pointless.
Considering Yueri’s bottomless creepiness, Calaria felt that she was planning something again.
Was the arcana of the woman who was the closest to World only creating a bunch of Justias? Just decaying them? Just regenerating?
(Not likely!)
Calaria was convinced as she continued cutting down Justias.
There had to be something else.
Then, Digi, who was hiding in the room of massacre, finally emerged.
She was holding a heart the size of a head, eerily pulsating in her hand.
“I found it. This is her heart, right?”
“No! That’s-”
Yueri panicked.
Calaria signalled Digi to throw it.
Digi instantly threw it and the heart got cut in half by Calaria’s sword.
“Ah…… Ugh, guuh……”
Yueri held her chest and groaned in pain.
All the Justias also vanished.
“Hmmh, so that was your heart. That’s different from the other angels.”
“My…… Judgment…… is the source of the angels World created…… She said it was a good idea, she praised me for having more imagination than my sister.”
“Original, huh? In other words, you were changing your body with your own powers.”
“I call it Evolve; isn’t that cool? Hehehe…… It was fun, it was so fun to use my hands to change myself into something other than myself. I broke myself with my own hands. It was my dearest wish, my desire, my pain. After that, after that, I reincarnated my sister in large numbers, revived her, grouped them up, melted them, and- aaah…… it was so delightful! I killed my corrupted self. Kill. Kiiill! That was…… that was so fun……”
“Just shut up and die.”
Calaria shot her finishing blow.
It hit Yueri right between the eyes.
“No…… I. I’m not, having fun……”
The light in her eyes disappeared.
Yueri fell to the floor and stopped moving.
