“Okay! I have an idea!”
Ami raised her hand first.
Ami making the first move put Cutie on edge.
However-
“What is it, Ami?”
“I think Cutie should go with you!”
Ami readily bequeathed this privilege to Cutie.
“Ami…… Are you sure about this?”
“I mean, you looked a bit sad after hearing that only two people can ride on it. I think sis needs you more than she needs me right now!”
Ami spoke cheerfully as always, without any sense of regret.
Cutie hurriedly put her hand on her face to check if she was dreaming.
Of course, there was no way to tell.
“I agree with that as well. If the princess and an important lady make a request from the army together, they will have to move.”
“Ah, that’s right. I never thought about it that way!”
“Yes…… I’m not confident I can stay calm if we separate right now anyway, so……”
Cutie spoke timidly, then peeked at Mary.
Mary kindly smiled at her.
“Alright Miss. Cutie, let’s be together. We should be back in a few hours if things go smoothly.”
“……But we don’t have to hurry, okay?”
“Did you say something?”
“I-It’s nothing.”
Mary tilted her head after noticing that Cutie’s cheeks were red for some reason.
Then, she went outside, made a composition of human bones with her
Death God
powers and created a bike.
Someone behind Mary pulled on her clothes when she was about to get on the bike.
She turned around to see Ami looking at her.
“What’s wrong, Ami?”
“Hn!”
Ami stood on her tiptoes and stuck out her lips.
She conceded to Cutie, but it still made her feel lonely.
While embarrassed because of the eyes around them, Ami’s wish still took precedence and their lips met.
After the soft sensation went away, Ami almost melted, and laughed: ‘Uhehe.’
“See you soon, sis!”
“Yes, I’ll be back soon.”
Then, without a moment’s delay, Calaria also hugged Mary.
“U-Umm, Miss. Calaria!?”
“I figured I’d comfort my loneliness too. Don’t worry, I’m not gonna kiss you here.”
“……It’s okay if you want to, though.”
Mary leaned her body against Calaria after saying that.
The two hugged each other for a while and felt each other’s skin.
Ami and Cutie gazed at the two with keen interest.
Mary noticed their gazes and frantically pulled her body away, and got on the bike.
“Err…… Well, we’re going for real now!”
“Yeah, see you soon.”
Cutie sat in the back and held onto Mary, and the wheels started to spin while gouging the ground:
Brrrr!
The vehicle sped up and left the village in no time.
Cutie turned around and watched the figures of Ami and Calaria get farther and farther
They were like specks now, but Ami and Calaria still saw them off to the end.
After turning a curve, their figures completely disappeared.
Cutie squinted a little sadly, then looked ahead again and muttered something in Mary’s ear.
“Womanizer.”
“H-Huuuh!?”
Mary was shaken and the handlebars pitched a little.
She immediately corrected them, but her heart beat loudly after this sudden scathing criticism.
Cutie did not soften the assault.
“You’re an evil princess, making me, Ami, and even Calaria your victims.”
“Hiih, what are you talking about so suddenly!? I’m a princess. And I’m a woman!”
“A woman can still be a womanizer, you womanizer.”
“There’s that word again……”
“A devilish woman, licking my wounds…… well, it would be stranger if things didn’t turn out this way.”
“I’m not a devilish woman.”
“But even Francis was engrossed with you, wasn’t she? And General Ox doesn’t look so bad either if you just look at his profile.”
Francis was 20 years old.
A normal age to be married already.
Normally, it would not be surprising for her to be married to a senior military officer who used arcana.
But that had not happened.
Either Francis refused her suitors, or King Henry did, saying they were no match for her.
“I’m not blaming you or anything, you know.”
“I hope so……”
“It’s just, I kind of understand how Calaria feels now.”
“Miss. Calaria?”
“It’s jealousy.”
Cutie spoke clearly.
She then smiled like a little devil, and brought her lips next to Mary’s ear.
“Uhyaah!?”
“Well, it’s alright, since I can have you all to myself right now.”
“Miss. Cutie, don’t you think you’re being a bit bold right now?”
“You’re the one who said you don’t care if I trouble you, Marry.”
“I never thought about it in this sense……”
“I know the warmth of your body now. I’m the type of person who goes after what she wants, so I don’t think I can hold back.”
Cutie moved her arms to Mary’s hips and held tighter.
She pushed her body against hers even more firmly.
Mary felt her body heat rise and her heart beat faster and louder due to this soft sensation.
“I had no idea leaning on someone could feel so good, you know…… I could fall for this. I’m a hopeless case for being so happy that Ami let me have this. Even though this trip is also for Ami’s sake.”
“I’m planning on letting Ami ride with me as well soon.”
“I’m sure that will make her very happy.”
“……Is it that nice to ride in the back?”
“It’s about gazing at the same scenery while holding onto someone you love. Isn’t that nice?”
“Ah, the same scenery. Indeed, making more memories you can share with someone deepens your bond with them.”
“So our bond is even deeper now?”
“I think so.”
“In that case, I’m going to rely on you even more.”
“That’s fine by me.”
“I’m going to be a more annoying woman. More serious, more jealous.”
“I like that kind of thing. It feels like I’m needed.
“……Well, you’re right.”
For some reason, Cutie, a little angrily, pinched Mary’s belly.
“Uh, that hurts!”
“You really are a womanizer.”
Cutie sounded exasperated.
“Because of what I said just now? But anyone would think the same way. Even my sister said that she liked it when I relied on her.”
“There’s Francis’s name.”
“H-Hey, you don’t have to look at her like a rival……”
“Of course she’s my rival. If I want to really make you mine, I have to cross the wall that is Francis.”
“It’s a high wall, you know.”
Mary spoke clearly.
Even now, she was still number one for her, after all.
“Yes, it really seems high. I have to work out a long-term plan to overpass her.”
“It doesn’t sound like a joke when you say it, Miss. Cutie……”
“Of course it’s not a joke. Well, leaving Francis aside for now, you should stop seducing everyone you see, okay?”
“I didn’t really do it on purpose……”
“Then pay attention from now on. Because it’s going to lessen my share if someone else is added in.”
“‘Share’? I’m not some object!”
“What’s your answer?”
“Okaaay……”
“Hehehe, you sound miserable. Don’t worry, I love that about you too.”
Mary suddenly noticed something.
Cutie had already used the word ‘love’.
Indeed, she did tell Mary that she wanted to cover the wound in her heart with Mary.
But, unlike with Ami or Calaria, it was not as if they clearly entered
that
kind of a relationship, so Mary was a bit self-conscious.
She was enticed, and Mary’s heart beat loudly as well.
The bike they rode on had no engine.
So it ran unusually quietly, and Mary could feel her heartbeats even more strongly because of it.
The flowing air caressed her cheeks.
Despite the cold wind blowing, strangely, neither Mary nor Cutie felt cold.
