Peter suddenly shielded his face with his arms at the sudden movement of Dimensional Power.
Boom!
A tremendous explosion erupted in front of him, and Peter was blasted toward the ground.
Even amidst his dazed state, he hastily generated anti-gravity around his body, but there wasn’t enough time.
Peter crashed through the window of a five-story building and slammed inside.
Yonghoon looked in the direction where the enemy had fallen with a grave expression.

The armor the Awakened was wearing suffered no major damage except for some scorching. It was incredibly durable armor.
Yonghoon gritted his teeth. The enemy’s emergence point from the building was completely different from what he had expected.
Yonghoon, who had been preparing to launch a spatial sword toward the shattered window, missed the rapidly ascending enemy.
Peter continued soaring into the sky. He finally stopped after ascending over 1km. Only then did Peter let out a rough breath.

Peter gave a bitter laugh at his own reflexive movement.
Spatial swords were useless against him, but his body had reacted out of habit.
However, that habit saved Peter.
A spatial sword imbued with Dimensional Power swept toward Peter.
Peter’s armor was slashed, and the skin underneath was split open. Blood sprayed from Peter’s body.
Peter was stunned.
The armor made from an A-rank Dimensional Beast had been cut by a spatial sword.
It made no sense. The armor, which only got scratched even by attacks from A-rank Strike-type Awakened, had been sliced by a spatial sword that couldn’t even carry Dimensional Power.
Moreover, they were 1km above the ground. He shouldn’t have been attacked.

Peter shouted in disbelief and scanned his surroundings. He could sense someone falling toward him from above.

Peter, with the sword stuck in his arm, fell downward together with Yonghoon.
Yonghoon and Peter’s eyes met.
Peter prioritized crushing the Awakened in front of him over solving his curiosity.
He focused the Dimensional Power he barely gathered at Yonghoon, pushing him back. The sword began to pull out from Peter’s arm.
“I won’t let you.”
Yonghoon grabbed Peter’s arm with his other hand.
They had now moved more than 500m away from where the dimensional tunnel had formed. They had exited the turbulent Dimensional Power zone.
Yonghoon created a dimensional tunnel beneath them. Sparks from Dimensional Repulsion danced across Peter’s body, but the force of gravitational acceleration was stronger. In the end, Yonghoon and Peter disappeared into the dimensional tunnel.
In the forest where the Dimensional Beast was, tremendous explosions continued.
Blood trickled from team leader Han’s mouth.
Around the group, it felt as if bombs were constantly falling. The tremendous explosions continued.
Just before Yonghoon left the group, the Dimensional Beast’s body color had changed for a while and then stopped, and dozens of glowing orbs had formed around it.

Team leader Han shouted to the group.
“Gather around me!”

A dome-shaped green barrier formed around the group. It was the ability of the Relic shield.
As soon as the barrier formed, the glowing orbs created by the Dimensional Beast flew in all directions.
The surroundings exploded violently. It was like a carpet bombing of the area.
The explosions battered the barrier created by team leader Han. His Dimensional Power drained rapidly, and the shock from the impacts also caused him damage.
Seeing team leader Han bleeding from his mouth, Eunseo snatched the shield away. The barrier, which had been fading, stabilized again.

From afar, hundreds, thousands of sharp sounds began to echo.
“Kyaaaah!”
Everyone turned toward Jeju City in shock. The forest had already been completely destroyed, revealing a clear view toward Jeju City.
In the group’s sight, they could see an enormous horde of corrupted humans charging from Jeju City.
Seeing this, team leader Han seemed to understand why the color of the monster’s shell had changed and why it had suddenly stopped attacking.

Sunhee also clutched her churning stomach and stretched her hand toward the humans.
Team leader Han lifted his shield. His Dimensional Power was running low. But he couldn’t afford to die like this.
Team leader Han began infusing Dimensional Power into his shield.
People started charging at the group, breaking through the burning wasteland that had once been a forest.
The corrupted humans rolled across the ground from Sunhee’s attacks and were blown away by Dohyeon’s powers, but some managed to break through and approach the group.
Team leader Han gritted his teeth and activated a shield.
Splash!
Yonghoon and Peter, having exited the dimensional tunnel, crashed into the sea 50 meters below. With a tremendous splash, the two sank beneath the water.
They grappled underwater, and soon after, Peter managed to fully stabilize his shaken Dimensional Power.
Peter shook off Yonghoon and shot into the sky. Spiraling upward for a good distance, Peter climbed over 500 meters and continued flying around. He kept moving, sharpening his senses to avoid being attacked.
He didn’t understand it, but his opponent was someone on his level-or even stronger. Peter had no idea where the enemy might appear from.
A sound of sirens reached Peter’s ears. Startled by the sudden noise, Peter turned toward the direction of the sound.
There, countless warships were coming into view. Bewildered, Peter looked around.
This was not the sea near Jeju Island. It was the waters in front of a port in a completely unfamiliar city. Moreover, it seemed to be a Japanese naval port. Japanese writing was visible on the walls of the port buildings.
The main guns of the warships began to turn toward Peter.
